I never set out to be a real estate agent. In fact, if you’d told me years ago that I’d be helping families find their perfect homes, I might’ve laughed. My journey started in a completely different place—behind a headset as a dispatcher for the sheriff’s office. It was a job that came with long hours, high stress, and moments that made my heart race. But it also showed me how much I love helping people, being the calm in the storm, and making a difference in someone’s life when they need it most.

Still, something was missing. The late nights and unpredictable schedule weren’t the life I wanted for myself or my family. That’s when I took a leap and landed at a boutique real estate brokerage, managing contracts from the moment a deal was signed to the day the keys changed hands. I had no idea what I was walking into—but I fell in love. I wasn’t just pushing paperwork; I was watching people’s dreams come true. I saw the pure joy of first-time homebuyers, the nostalgia of families saying goodbye to homes filled with memories, and the bittersweet emotions of selling a place that had meant so much. I knew then—I wanted to be more than just behind the scenes. I wanted to be the one walking this journey with them.

So I got my license, and I never looked back.

I was born and raised in Kerens, Texas (GO BOBCATS!) and now call Bazette home, where my husband, Michael, and I are raising our two babies. Elizabeth, our smart and spunky 10-year-old, is thriving at Kerens Elementary, and our little Colt just turned 1 and is keeping us on our toes. Our family loves the simple things—being outside, hunting, fishing, camping, and making memories. And when we can, we sneak away to the beach, because there’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore.

Real estate is so much more than buying and selling houses. It’s the place where babies take their first steps, where families gather around the dinner table, where life happens. It’s exciting, emotional, sometimes even heartbreaking—but that’s what makes it meaningful.
